Jeremy Spray has been drumming since he got his first kit at 4 years old. Today, he is still drumming and loving every minute of it! Having grown up listening to anything from Michael Jackson to Metallica to the Dave Matthews Band, Jeremy derives inspiration from an array of musical tastes, striving to incorporate these diverse influences into one complete groove.
Jeremy gained early experience from performing with a number of different bands and singer/ songwriters around his hometown of Lewisburg, Tennessee. Since then, he has had the opportunity to work with several people in the Nashville area, such as Sarah Darling, Six One Five Collective (Nicole Witt, Michael Logen, Sarah Darling, Aaron Goodvin), Neon High (Austin Moody, Cheyenne Medders, and Jeremy), Shelly Fairchild, Jamie Floyd, Emily Shackelton, Julie Lavery, Fainn, Emily Earle, Ryan Kinder, Nikita Karmen, Femke Weidema, Tyler Flowers, Clayton Bellamy, Tatum Shappley, Terry Greene, Hollywood Yates, Michael Moore, Cotton Wine (Brandon James, Femke Weidema), and others. In addition to learning those drumming skills only gained from live performance situations, he has also had the opportunity to learn from some of Nashville's very own top-notch drummers, as he has studied under Johnny Rabb (Collective Soul), J.D. Blair (Shania Twain), Jim Riley (Rascal Flatts), and Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean).
Jeremy is always looking for new opportunities! Feel free to contact him through this site, or email him at sprayej@gmail.com.
He is proud to endorse Soultone Cymbals.
